WORKPLACE NEURODIVERSITY CONSULTANCY
Practical, evidence-informed solutions for neuroinclusive workplaces.
Brainstorm helps organisations understand how neurodivergence interacts with the way work is designed, managed and experienced — and turn that understanding into practical change.
Your workplace is already neuropdiverse
The question is whether your workplace is designed for it. Neurodivergent employees can bring valuable strengths and perspectives to organisations, but conventional workplaces are not designed around the way neurodivergent people process information, regulate attention, communicate, organise work or respond to their environment. The result can be an unnecessary gap between capability and performance. An employee who appears disorganised may be struggling with executive-function demands. A performance issue may be compounded by an unidentified workplace barrier. A standard management approach may inadvertently make performance worse. And an employee may never disclose a diagnosis — or even have one. Understanding neurodiversity matters, but awareness alone doesn't change workplaces. Brainstorm helps organisations look beyond labels to understand what is happening at work, why it is happening, and what can practically be changed. To translate neurodiversity knowledge into practical changes to the systems, behaviours and environments that shape people's experience of work.
Empower your workplace and make a lasting difference in the well-being of your team.
Brainstorm can help you provide an inclusive environment where neurodivergent staff can thrive. Maximise productivity, meet your obligations, and mitigate risk.
Rethinking how workplaces respond to neurodiversity.
Neuroinclusion is more than an inclusion initiative.
Different doesn't have to mean difficult, and a more neuroinclusive workplace can be a better-designed workplace for everyone.

From ADHD and neurodiversity training to workplace systems, management practices, accommodations and psychosocial risk, we help organisations create environments where different minds can perform at their best.
The objective isn't to create a separate workplace for neurodivergent people. It's to create better systems, better management and better ways of working — so that different people can thrive and have a genuine opportunity to perform.
HOW BRAINSTORM CAN HELP
Brainstorm works with organisations at different stages of their neuroinclusion journey — from first conversations about ADHD through to more sophisticated workplace strategy and systems design.

Why ADHDBrainstorm
A different perspective on neurodiversity at work.
Brainstorm sits at the intersection of:
Lived experience
First-hand understanding of ADHD in demanding professional and corporate environments.
Corporate experience
An understanding of how organisations actually operate — including competing priorities, performance expectations, governance, risk and commercial realities.
Legal & governance perspective
An appreciation of the broader Australian workplace, governance and regulatory environment in which organisations operate.Brainstorm provides workplace neurodiversity consulting and education and does not provide legal advice.
Evidence-informed practice
An approach informed by contemporary research and emerging thinking across neurodiversity, workplace participation, functioning and organisational practice.
Practical implementation
Because telling an organisation to “be more neuroinclusive” isn't a strategy.
We focus on what organisations, managers and employees can actually do differently.
ADHD Brainstorm can help you provide an inclusive environment where neurodivergent staff can thrive. Maximise productivity, meet your obligations, and mitigate risk.

Brainstorm was founded by Nikki Searby, an experienced corporate lawyer, governance professional and neurodiversity advocate who was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult.
After more than a decade working in professional and corporate environments, Nikki became increasingly interested in the gap between how workplaces expect people to operate and how different people actually think, organise, communicate and perform.
That perspective sits at the heart of Brainstorm.
Rather than treating neurodiversity purely as an HR, medical or inclusion issue, Nikki approaches it as an organisational challenge:
How can workplaces be designed and managed so that people can perform effectively — without removing accountability or expecting every brain to work in exactly the same way?
Her professional background spans law, corporate affairs and governance, complemented by lived experience of ADHD and ongoing engagement with the ADHD and neurodiversity community.
Nikki also serves as Company Secretary of the Australasian ADHD Professionals Association (AADPA).
Corporate experience. Lived experience.
